2024 YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg summer camp training has officially kicked off. Hosting it our new Speer YMCA just reminds me of the power of partnerships and together we can serve others, and create lasting memories for our campers.

This week, we attended the 7th annual Vyrle Davis Awards at Gibbs High School. This event recognizes exceptional academic scholars within our community. For the past seven years, it has been our tradition to recognize one outstanding student by awarding them with a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to Omenukoh, our 2024 award recipient! Omenukoh has completed over 70 community service hours, is a member of the Varsity Basketball Team and an active church member. After College, Omenukoh intends to pursue a career in healthcare.
