Exciting #GivingTuesday news — Program Development Manager for Street Soccer USA PDX, Julian Alexander, has been accepted as a member of adidas' Community Lab cohort! In Julian's words: "I’m excited to announce that I’ve been selected as a member of the 23/24 cohort of Adidas Community Lab! At Street Soccer USA PDX, we're dedicated to creating equitable access to soccer by offering an alternative to the pay-to-play model that dominates sports. What I love most about soccer is its ability to bring people together and create a community. My focus is on expanding our community clubs to as many neighborhoods in Portland as we can. We aim to create more spaces for anyone interested in playing soccer to come together and enjoy the beautiful game. The cohort has already been amazing. Thank you to Adidas for this incredible opportunity; I'm excited to embark on this journey and bring positive changes to our community!"
