Founded in 1996, Summit Industrial is a Specialty Mechanical Contractor that offers full-service engineering, design-assist and turnkey, direct hire construction services. Good Afternoon! Summit has an opening for a QC Inspector for project work at various locations throughout the USA The best fit Candidate should ahve the following requirements: Valid AWS-CWI, with at least 5 years experience as a CWI. (No CWI numbers starting with higher than 19XXXXXX) Past experience in both ASME piping and AWS structural welding inspection. Proficient with interpreting and understanding construction documents (Drawings, ISO's, Etc.) Detail oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills Good verbal and written skills Must be proficient with Excel, Word, Bluebeam a plus Pay DOE Per Diem if eligible Shift work is 10 hour days on a rotating 60/60/50 schedule. Work may be at heights, and in inclimate (hot or cold) ambient temperatures. Prospective candidates must be able to mobilize to site upon selection.
