Earlier this month, the SVdP Georgia Board gathered for our 2024 Board Retreat! We started the day by rolling up our sleeves to serve neighbors in need at our Chamblee Family Support Center and client-choice food pantry. Providing help and hope is at the heart of what we do. Afterward, we focused on leadership, practicing the skill of seeing different perspectives, even those we don’t share. The day continued with a strategic planning session, laying the foundation for deepening our impact across Georgia over the next 5 years. We're excited to implement strategies that will extend our reach and provide more comprehensive support to communities statewide. To cap it all off, we got creative with a fun salsa-making teambuilding activity! Nothing brings people together like a little friendly competition and delicious food. Thanks to the Enterprise Mobility Foundation™ for donating $10,000 to St. Vincent de Paul Georgia. This grant will help support when and where it is needed most, helping our Georgia neighbors meet the daily challenges of Housing, Hunger, and Health.

The Georgia Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), is a federally-funded program that helps low-income households with their home energy bills. Fulton County Residents can come by St. Vincent de Paul Georgia in Chamblee on Wednesday, August 7th from 9 AM to 3 PM to learn more and possibly receive assistance! #Help #Hope #EnergyBills #FultonCounty

Last summer, our food pantry served roughly 100 neighbors a month. This summer, we are serving more than 80 neighbors a day. There is a need for food in our communities. Share this post to spread the word with neighbors in need. ❤️
