Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank's mission is to partner with local social service agencies to provide free diapers to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers. Our vision is to eliminate the existence of diaper need in our community so that all babies have a chance to be healthy, happy, and safe.

Last week we brought our volunteer experience to the Paycor offices for their annual sales meeting. Around 70 employees wrapped 45,000 diapers that will go directly to 900 babies in our community. Loveland Charity Cup 2023 was a huge success raising funds for Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati! The game trophy went to the J. K. Meurer Corporation team of Kain Meurer, Josh Meurer, and Choice One's Matt West! Coming in second place was the Village of Owensville. As Sweet Cheeks started sending diaper bundles out to families in our community, we came upon another heartbreaking struggle: moms were often making the choice of diapers for their babies or period product for themselves. Enter Junior League of Cincinnati. With JLC's support, we founded Tidal Babe Period Bank and are now distributing over 500,000 period products to menstruators in need in the Greater Cincinnati area. We could not have done it without the incredible time, treasure, and talent offered through this program. Thank you JLC!
Are you a nonprofit looking for financial or other types of support? The Junior League of Cincinnati is looking for its next partner to champion. The service-minded volunteer organization released a request for proposal for an existing 501(c)(3) that needs support for a new initiative or to expand an existing program that aligns with its mission. As part of the partnership, JLC will offer a team of trained volunteers and seed funding for a term of three to five years. In previous years JLC has helped incubate programs from a variety of nonprofits, including RefugeeConnect and Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank. Its partnership with Family Nurturing Center is entering its final year.

The Charles H. Dater Foundation has been instrumental to the growth and success of Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank. Starting out of our founder, Megan Fischer’s basement with just a few hundred diapers each month, the Dater Foundation was one of the first foundation who believed and invested in Cincinnati’s only diaper bank. Eight years later, we distribute over 200,000 diapers each month, over 2.2 million diapers each year. We thank you for all you do to make Greater Cincinnati a better place for all families.
If you listen to Cincinnati Public Radio, you have likely heard of the CHARLES H DATER FOUNDATION INC. Promotional spots run throughout the year, rotating mentions of the more than 150 nonprofits in which the foundation invests. Given the nearly anonymous beginnings of the foundation, this purposeful public presence is representative of just how far things have come since its creation in 1985. Thom Mariner featured the organization – AFP Cincinnati's Outstanding Foundation of the Year – in our November magazine.
