A year ago today, I embarked on an exciting journey with Talentpoel as a Virtual Assistant, and what a year it's been! Through Talentpoel, I got to work with Conor Walsh as Virtual Assistant, an experience that has been nothing short of transformative - both professionally and personally. Thanks to Conor, I've had the privilege of working with Juliana Rabbi of Going To LLC, and I've even had the opportunity to connect with some industry heavyweights! I've also honed my skills, expanded my knowledge, gotten extra certifications and met incredible people who have inspired and challenged me. This one year has been a rollercoaster of emotions, with ups, downs, personal growth, health challenges, and even losses. But through it all, I've had the unwavering support of Conor and the entire Talentpoel team. They have truly been my rock, and I'm eternally grateful for their unwavering belief in me. One of my proudest moments this year was hosting a Virtual Assistant bootcamp for my Telegram community, Virtual Career Compass. It was amazing to share my knowledge and help others on their own career journeys. I'm also grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, extending even beyond Africa. Helping people find remote jobs in Europe has been incredibly rewarding. I want to give a special shoutout to Conor for making virtual work seamless and enjoyable. Also special thanks to Jephtah A., Godwin O I MD, Margareth Egbuchulam, and the entire Talentpoel team for consistently having my back. As I look ahead to the next year, I'm filled with excitement and anticipation. I know that I have a solid army behind me, rooting for me and cheering me on every step of the way.
