CALLING ALL DEVS! 💻 Are you studying for a certification, school, or need to catch up on extra work? Ready to meet new friends in the Tampa Bay Technology area? Join us on September 28th for our September Study Group, where you'll be surrounded by like-minded IT students and professionals. This is a space to socialize, show off your current projects, ask questions with others studying for similar topics, and enjoy a nice cup of coffee! Whether you just started studying, about to take an exam, or still trying to figure out which certification path to take, our study groups are the perfect setting to share knowledge, learn some new study tips & tricks, and ask questions to current industry professionals. Although we schedule the study session from 9am-12pm, attendees are free to come and go as they please. Not currently preparing for an exam? Whether you are doing school work, a passion project, or extra side work, we love to create a workspace for our techies to socialize and be productive while out of the office. What to expect at our study groups: -An inside/ outside venue and casual group setting -An opportunity to network with other students, professionals, and enthusiasts -A productive work environment to study, learn, and create -A safe space to discuss career or school advice with other attendees -A creative space to show off your home projects/ gadgets to other tech enthusiasts! Congrats to James Pooley for being our August Techie of the Month! 🎉    James is a US Navy veteran, Sr. Software Engineer, hobby game developer, and part-time student. His interest in technology started early when he fixed his family’s 486 floppy drive as a child, cementing a lifelong love for tech. During his time in the Navy, he served as a Master at Arms, specializing in Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, with roles ranging from landside security to patrol boat Coxswain.  For the past six years, James has dedicated himself to improving veteran care through his work with the VA, primarily focusing on backend systems for handling EDI Healthcare transactions. He is also completing a B.A.S degree at St. Petersburg College. In his free time, James pursues his passion for game development. He creates game development tutorial videos, participates in game jams, and helps maintain several open-source projects. James also has a long-term game project underway which he hopes to announce soon!    -------------------------    Know someone that’s passionate about technology?
