Great news #TampasDowntown! We’re excited to showcase our Channel District Neighborhood Enhancement Grant Recipient Luisa, who utilized this impactful grant to create “Green Up” Channelside! “Green Up” Channelside is a series of workshops that provides an exciting opportunity to explore the vibrant world of the Channel District’s plants! The next workshop will be held TOMORROW from 8:30am - 10:00am at 204 12th Street, and attendees with meet at the garden entrance across from Washington Square Park! What’s in store: 🌱An interactive session where you’ll learn to identify the perfect plants for your space 🌱Gain invaluable potting and care tips 🌱You’ll be able to leave with your own FREE plant to adorn your patio or enhance your business ambience Won’t be able to make it? The Tampa Downtown Partnership is eager for the return of our annual Special Service District (SSD) Community Meetings! As a part of the SSD renewal process, the Partnership will be holding three community meetings in July prior to the Public Hearing before Tampa City Council next month. The first meeting will be held on Thursday, July 16 at 8:30am at the Tampa Downtown Partnership headquarters at the Rivergate Tower at 400 N Ashley Dr. Unit 1010! We encourage all property and business owners, residents, and stakeholders to share ideas on how to maintain and improve #TampasDowntown image by attending one of the three meetings. Remaining Meeting Dates/Details: July 18 at 5:30pm - St. James Church at ENCORE! We had a BLAST last week at Mayor Jane Castor’s Boom by the Bay Powered by TECO Energy! 🎆 We celebrated America’s birthday with a Pickleball Tournament, an Apple Pie Throwdown, live art by Markanthony R Little, food vendors, and live entertainment from talented local acts.
