The Tampa Downtown Partnership is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)6 organization. It is a membership organization comprised of companies, organizations and individuals with a common goal of advancing downtown Tampa. Through an annual contract with the City of Tampa, the Tampa Downtown Partnership administers the Special Services District. In addition to Tampa's Downtown Guides and Clean Team, the Tampa Downtown Partnership works to promote downtown through a multitude of initiatives including marketing, business development, transportation, planning and beautification. We’re excited to showcase our Channel District Neighborhood Enhancement Grant Recipient Luisa, who utilized this impactful grant to create “Green Up” Channelside! “Green Up” Channelside is a series of workshops that provides an exciting opportunity to explore the vibrant world of the Channel District’s plants! The next workshop will be held TOMORROW from 8:30am - 10:00am at 204 12th Street, and attendees with meet at the garden entrance across from Washington Square Park!   • The Tampa Downtown Partnership is eager for the return of our annual Special Service District (SSD) Community Meetings! As a part of the SSD renewal process, the Partnership will be holding three community meetings in July prior to the Public Hearing before Tampa City Council next month. The first meeting will be held on Thursday, July 16 at 8:30am at the Tampa Downtown Partnership headquarters at the Rivergate Tower at 400 N Ashley Dr. Unit 1010! We encourage all property and business owners, residents, and stakeholders to share ideas on how to maintain and improve #TampasDowntown image by attending one of the three meetings. Remaining Meeting Dates/Details: July 18 at 5:30pm - St. James Church at ENCORE!   • We had a BLAST last week at Mayor Jane Castor’s Boom by the Bay Powered by TECO Energy! 🎆 We celebrated America’s birthday with a Pickleball Tournament, an Apple Pie Throwdown, live art by Markanthony R Little, food vendors, and live entertainment from talented local acts. Also, huge congratulations to the winners of the Pickleball Tournament and Apple Pie Throwdown! We also want to extend a big thank you to our gracious sponsors and community partners!
