Randy Rayburn was an important part of Nashville's culinary and civic tapestry. A visionary restaurateur, Randy enriched our city’s dining scene, and his Midtown Cafe has shined as a beacon of Southern hospitality since 1987. For decades, Randy warmly welcomed and served our patrons and Broadway season ticket holders, providing them a popular shuttle service from dinner to performances at Tennessee Performing Arts Center® and many other arts experiences. What began as a convenience soon became a beloved tradition. Randy leaves behind an unforgettable legacy as a supporter of the performing arts and a connector of people, and his memory lives on through every meal served at his restaurants and every ride shared to our doorstep. Midtown Cafe is open and welcoming guests, and we encourage all to visit, dine, connect, and celebrate his life and legacy. He will be deeply missed.
