In celebration of Pride, we’re highlighting Jill Cole, Community Relations Manager at the Carolina Panthers. As the co-lead for PRIDE, our Employee Resource Group for LGBTQ+ staff members and allies, Jill embodies our organizational value of Inclusion. In her role, she emphasizes the importance of allyship to foster a welcoming work environment because we know we’re better together. Although Pride is celebrated in June, we strive to be supportive and mindful of the LGBTQ+ community throughout the year. “There’s a misunderstanding that you have to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community to be an ally but that’s not true,” she continued. “It’s about being a support system, a friend, an advocate and ultimately, a teammate.”  #PrideMonth

Tepper Sports & Entertainment’s Black Employee Resource Group, STRIDE, hosted a powerful Juneteenth celebration at the match on Wednesday! The festivities began with an HBCU pre-match networking mixer, providing future generations of Black leaders with an opportunity to cultivate relationships. STRIDE also hosted local Black changemakers, business and community leaders from across the Carolinas in a private suite experience at Bank of America Stadium. Talented chefs from TSE crafted an exclusive Juneteenth menu, further showcasing the rich culinary heritage of the African-American community. This celebratory experience honored the dedication and contributions of the Black community, solidifying STRIDE’s commitment to building a more inclusive future.

On Juneteenth, we will host a matchday celebration honoring Black Excellence and highlighting barrier breakers and voices in the community. Local artist Kalin Devone is one of those voices, providing the creative inspiration for our celebration.

The David and Nicole Tepper Foundation (DNTF) has taken another big step in the fight against food insecurity. Today, Nourish Up announced DNTF has made the largest gift in Nourish Up’s almost 50-year history in support of its mission to eradicate food insecurity across Mecklenburg County. The donation will directly support Nourish Up’s new Hunger Hub, a 90,000-square-foot facility in the heart of Charlotte that will provide unparalleled resources to those in the community facing food and nutrition insecurity. This gift is in addition to the $6.4M DNTF has previously donated to food banks throughout the Carolinas. More:
