Forty-five years ago, Glen Teter founded a structural engineering firm in Visalia. Through his steadfast vision, TETER has transformed from a one-man operation into a company with five offices and almost 150 employee owners. We take pride in offering a diverse range of services, covering master planning, architectural design, and engineering (MEPS). As TETER, Inc. commemorates its 45th year in business, we express sincere appreciation to our visionary founder for his fearless leadership. Happy 45th anniversary, Glen! #TETER #Founder #TETERAnniversary

BUILDING A BETTER VALLEY®
About us
We’re Building a Better Valley—One Project, One Client Relationship, and One Employee at a Time Building a better Valley isn’t just a slogan. For us, it’s personal. We are architects and engineers who live, work, play, and raise our families in the Central Valley—the ultimate reason to make it a fantastic place for everyone. DEEP ROOTS IN OUR COMMUNITIES For four decades, TETER has developed long-lasting relationships with our clients and each other, building a firm with a broad reach and a deep understanding of Central California. Our architects and engineers work together under the same roof to create a seamless, efficient design process for clients. OUR VALUES INFORM OUR WORK We always bring extra value to a project. Our commitment to our clients involves listening to their needs, understanding where those needs come from, and helping them sort through possibilities to reach the best solution for their project. And it’s usually not just theirs. It could be a building where our children will go to school, where a friend might work, or where a loved one might get medical care. We’re all connected. ALWAYS PART OF A TEAM There are no starchitects or kingeneers at TETER. We are a large group of talented individuals who know that the whole is better than the sum of its parts. That whole includes our clients and the entire design and engineering group—working together, we can take a project farther than it could go with any individual. (Not to mention it’s a lot more fun to be part of a team.) Join our team or let us join yours. We can all contribute to building a better Valley.

SEAOCC SEE Award Recipient 🏆✨ Award of Excellence – New Construction (Small) College of the Sequoias Educational Support Services Building Congratulations TETER Architects and Engineers! The College of the Sequoias' Visalia Campus received an upgrade that enhanced both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Teter designed a unique steel brace frame system around the building perimeter, offering flexibility and honoring the Architect's vision. The space features clear-span interiors for immediate and future use, with exposed brace frame connections and round HSS columns for a clean look. Environmental design considerations maximized on the indirect light exposure and scenic views. The interior includes collaborative learning environments with integrated furniture and technology, while an exterior entry plaza serves as a public gathering space. TETER is thrilled to announce that Ryan Odom is now a licensed Architect! This achievement is a result of the collective effort and support from mentors who encouraged Ryan throughout his journey of ARE tests, AXP hours, and the CSE exam.
