The May frozen category reset just launched at Whole Foods Market and the innovation this round is 🔥! These are a few of the new products I'm excited about in the meat department: 1. Simek's Mini Beef Meatballs: I love these delicious mini meatballs because they open up new options to use meatballs, from soups to frittatas to appetizers. They are perfect for kids (and parents) in reducing choking risk and enabling kids to feed themselves without additional chopping. I'm also excited to kickoff our partnership with Simek's as a new supplier to Whole Foods Market with so many shared values in being plastic neutral, a Certified B Corp, and donating a meal to Feeding America with every purchase. These meatball minis are nationally available as part of a three sku lineup including full size turkey + beef meatballs. Thank you Lindsey Hickey and Jillian Waggoner! 2. Teton Waters Ranch Mini Corn Dogs: Corn dogs in the market today are targeted towards kids but are largely junk food with little nutritional value. These Teton corn dogs are anything but, with grass-fed beef, 20% added vegetables, and only 4g of added sugar. Despite these better attributes, the product tastes exceptional and is far better than the existing options in the market today. Perdue Farms Air Fryer Wings: The air fryer makes these wings perfectly crispy and restaurant quality at only 170 calories per serving. I often would only eat wings at restaurants because the quality was so hard to replicate at home. These wings change that and make wings convenient, affordable, and healthier than the deep fried alternative typically served at restaurants. Available nationally in Lemon Pepper + Roasted. Amylu Foods Chicken Sausage Breakfast Bites: The perfect on-the-go microwavable breakfast for kids or adults that is high in protein and has no added sugar. I love that the Cheddar & Bacon sku has the best flavors of breakfast in one bite and the non-dairy Country Breakfast flavor is versatile to pair alongside any flavor, sweet or savory.
