Project of the month: TG Gallagher’s recent project, 101 Smith Place, is a 155,000 square-foot life science building that boasts 3 floors of cutting-edge laboratories and various amenities. The team streamlined the project timeline by prefabricating most of the HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Taking it a step further, TGG trimbled hanger bang-itz and floor sleeves in order to expedite the hanger installation process and avoid the need to core through floors. Thanks to the teams' diligent on-site efforts and commitment to safety, the systems were seamlessly rigged and installed. Last Thursday, our Summer Co-Op program ended with our Co-Ops giving insightful presentations on their experiences at TG Gallagher. They all shared their learnings, improvement ideas for the program and company, and gave insights from interviewing TG Gallagher employees. Bringing visions to life! 🔥🔥🔥

Project of the month: TG Gallagher recently completed HVAC installations for Parcel O, a nine-story, 250,000-square-foot life science building in Boston's Seaport District. The project included fuel oil, condenser water, heating hot water, chilled water systems, and an energy recovery system. To enhance efficiency, the team prefabricated carbon steel piping, pump skids, hangers, strongbacks, and the energy recovery skid. A key factor in the project's success was TGG's effective collaboration with the general contractor. Upon completion, multiple floors were leased to Ginkgo Bioworks, who then awarded TG Gallagher an HVAC contract for the fit-out. Charlotte Hobby, one of our Assistant Project Managers, has been a part of the TG Gallagher team for over 2 years! Charlotte's passion for her work and her eagerness to learn make her an outstanding APM. Throughout her time here, she has played a significant role in supporting project managers, building relationships with clients, and coordinating with cross-functional teams, which has been pivotal in the success of ongoing projects. Charlotte embraces every opportunity to learn and grow to better herself and the team.
