Earlier today the young men of The Blue Heart Foundation participated in the "Stop the Hate" Youth townhall hosted by GODRadio1.com! We thank their team led by Leonard Thompson for providing our young Black men the platform to have an open & honest discussion involving their experiences facing hate & racism and how to identify & handle such instances. 💙 #Blackexcellence #togetherwerise

🔥Another awesome Career & College Prep Workshop on the Blue Heart books! Our young men were able to hear from Clarence Fields who discussed Careers in Engineering/Technology and Dr. Robert Gillespie, MD who works here in San Diego as a cardiologist, discussed the field of cardiology.💙💪🏽 We also want to shout out our College Prep Coach, Dr. James Crawford and College Prep Instructor, Julian Shojaie, who have been working closely with our Juniors every Tuesday and Thursday to get them working on their personal statements along with other college prep assignments.👏🏽👏🏽 So excited that we are able to prepare these amazing young men for their post high school careers. #togetherwerise #collegechangescommunities

It never ceases to amaze me as to how much the work of The Blue Heart Foundation impacts & inspires others. So much so that some of the incarcerated population of Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility got together to fundraise on our behalf to help provide for the young men that we serve. Yes, you read that right. Four times a year, some of the inmates get together to fundraise for local non-profits to do their part to give back while they are serving time. Unbeknownst to us, they chose us for the work that we do and they deserve to be recognized for their willingness to give back in this capacity. I always say to our guys "you never know whos watching & who you may inspire." Shout out to the individuals who took the initiative to make this happen. Every single penny they raised will directly towards our guys💙 #Togetherwerise #inspirational

The Blue Heart Foundation 9th annual Signing Day event is in the books! It was standing room only as we celebrated our seniors & their families as they announced the colleges they will attend this fall!
