As the battle over the Supreme Court's future heats up, a new $30 million initiative at the Brennan Center aims to research potential reforms. Does MacKenzie Scott ever meet or talk to her grantees? It seems not. I spoke to some Scott grantees about the process of being contacted and reviewed by the elusive billionaire's team. After receiving the money, they say they are grateful but still not entirely sure what they said or did to win favor. Some yearn to contact Scott. "Our affiliates would love nothing more than to thank her personally and to show her the fruits of the investment she made," Kendra Davenport, CEO of Easterseals, says. "But she is a private person, and we haven't had that opportunity yet. But, hopefully, someday." Read the full story here: https://bit.ly/3WNO1ct
