The HealthTech Triangle crew for June 2024 🙌 👏 Yesterday, we had the biggest turnout with around 50 people in healthcare from the Research Triangle area showing up to hang out and hear from our fireside chat with Jake Thomson (Senior Director of Product at Aledade, Inc.) and Margaret Malone. Jake Thomson and Margaret Malone gave an incredibly insightful conversation on the journey to becoming a product leader in healthcare and some of Jake's learnings on VBC. Thank you so much to everyone who showed up! I'm optimistic that we can continue building the Research Triangle into an even greater healthcare hub. Some of the most talented people in healthcare are in the area, and community just connects the dots. Thank you to Health Tech Nerds for sponsoring the event. Yesterday The HealthTech Triangle hosted a local networking meetup that included a discussion with Jake Thomson (also free food and drinks) Jake shared with us his experience from Epic to Unite Us to Senior Director of Product at Aledade. Then we heard a lot about the potential and difficulties around #ValueBasedCare, particularly for #PrimaryCare at scale. —- This was our best-attended meetup so far (offering food and drinks may be the trick?). ~50 attending—not everyone made the group picture I only heard positive feedback about the #networking and Jake’s chat. —- As Evan said at the event, we started these after years of being disconnected during Covid and feeling the potential the triangle has for being a leader in healthcare. Now we’re routinely getting two dozen+ people passionate about healthcare to show up on a weekday evening just to talk more #healthcare. Thanks to Evan Brociner Margaret Malone Avi A.
