When organizations who care about community work together, great things happen. An enormous thanks to Bayer Fund for this $10,000 grant, which will allow us to provide food for up to 30,000 meals. Healthy community building IS possible when we choose to support each other like this.

Zions Bank has donated $10,000 to The Idaho Foodbank to support the Beef Counts program. This partnership between The Idaho Foodbank and the Idaho Beef Council — with support from the Idaho Cattle Assocation and Agri Beef — has raised over $1 million in donations and provided more than 2.4 million servings of beef through the foodbank’s statewide network. Commercial Banking Regional Director Jaren Bevan presented the check to foodbank president and CEO Randy Ford, and was joined by Idaho Beef Council Chairman Steven Taylor, Commercial Banking relationship manager and Idaho Cattle Association President Jerry Wroten as well as foodbank employees and council members. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the important and impactful work of these organizations in our communities.

We have been celebrating lots of work anniversaries lately! Ken Field, Warehouse Coordinator, is celebrating his 15 years of service with The Idaho Foodbank. On the most impactful part of his experience, Ken says, "Every year in Pocatello, we host a Thanksgiving distribution that serves 900+ families. Being a part of a team that works together so well, with the help of 125 volunteers, is heartwarming and fulfilling. It is a reminder of why we do what we do; for all of the smiling, hopeful faces that come through." Eloquently put, Ken. Thank you for all you do! #workanniversary #foodbank #idaho #employeerecognition

Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI) allowed their 1,000th employee to donate $1,000 to any charity of their choice - Nick chose The Idaho Foodbank. Having used a food bank before, Nick wanted his donation to make an impact on ending hunger. Thank you to ESI and your incredible employees for partnering with us!
