🌞 We had an incredible day on the water for our annual sailboat trip last week! The team enjoyed coming together to relax and take in the stunning views of Annapolis. After a day of sailing, we capped it off with a wonderful dinner. This trip was a fantastic reminder of the memories we create together, fostering a strong company culture and emphasizing our motto, "love what you do." Balancing work and play is key, and this event perfectly highlighted our commitment to work-life balance. Cheers to many more great times ahead! ⛵✨ #WorkLifeBalance #LoveWhatYouDo #EmployeeAppreciation #MidtownTakesEverest #BestPlacesToWork

We are proud to formally introduce the expansion of our public sector team headlined by Vice President of Public Sector and Government Services, Tasha Morris, who has led Midtown in growing its work extensively with federal, state, and local government agencies in the last 19 years. Robert Russell, who joined The Midtown Group in July 2023, heads the client capture and service delivery aspects of our team as Senior Director of Capture Strategy & Operations. Lorie DuBasky serves as the team’s Senior Growth Capture Manager of Federal Services, while Joanna Swann has taken the reins in developing our recruitment and service delivery strategies as Director of Talent Fulfillment & Delivery for the Public Sector. Jose Contin and Lisa Gardner lead the delivery of Midtown's public sector projects, while Nancy Green continues to direct our public sector proposals. This team has already accomplished so much for the team and our government clients over the last year, and we are so ready to reach “Everest” sized heights together over the next year. Our team at The Midtown Group is very excited to announce that we have been named to the Washington Business Journal's 2024 Corporate Philanthropy List. Our team was ranked #4! https://lnkd.in/eMy4PcCZ Throughout three decades of considerable growth, our team has been committed to giving back by investing in causes close to our community and our team members through our philanthropy program. Part of this program includes allowing employees to take the lead on our philanthropic endeavors each month by suggesting organizations to support. Thank you to our incredible leader, Helen Stefan Moreau, for giving us the opportunity, encouragement and resources to support our local community and the causes close to our employees' hearts. Year-over-year, we exceed our charitable giving efforts in these supporting organizations that have personal connections to our employees, and in 2024 we saw the highest level of engagement with Helen matching every dollar employees donated! #LoveWhatYouDo #CorporatePhilanthropy #Community

In recognition of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, we reached out to our consultants to hear their perspectives on the importance of mental health awareness and how work environment and workplace culture play a part in mental health. At Midtown, our motto is "Love what you do." Loving what you do is essential to maintaining strong mental health, and we believe that creating a supportive work environment is key to this. Our dedicated consultant, Patty, shared her insightful thoughts on this topic: “I do believe that loving what you do and where you work are critical to strong mental health because a balanced mindset will always show a positive outcome. You should always know you have a sense of meaning and purpose in your work environment.” These words resonate deeply with our mission to foster a culture where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered. We understand that mental health is not just about managing stress but also about creating an environment where everyone feels they have purpose and are appreciated. As we continue to prioritize mental health, we encourage everyone to reflect on what it means to love what you do and how we can all contribute to a positive, supportive workplace culture. Let's make every effort to ensure our work environment nurtures our mental well-being and brings out the best in each of us. #LoveWhatYouDo #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #EmployeeAppreciation
