Getting enough hours of restful sleep is necessary for a person's physical and mental health. It is well-documented that sleep plays an important role in regulating mood and supporting brain activity. Unfortunately, sleep disturbance is common among consumers of at-home parenteral nutrition (HPN).  Check out these tips from Hassan S. Dashiti, PhD, RD and Adline Rahmoune, BS about how to get better sleep when using parenteral nutrition at home:  https://lnkd.in/gqb4f2q2

Tomorrow is our Community Connections, a virtual opportunity to gather with other members of the nutrition support community and discuss a topic important to our caregivers and consumers. These are great ways to meet new people, hear from others navigating similar experiences, and become a part of the nutrition support community. For the remainder of this year, we encourage our participants to share questions and topics they'd like to discuss when they register so we can make the most of our time together. Friday, August 23 6:00 pm ET Head to https://lnkd.in/g8mpfgYq to register! This is just a reminder that these events are designed to support, not replace, the guidance of your clinician or a licensed mental health professional.
