About us
The Take Home Chef offers professional catering services across in Orange County, primarily serving the Windermere, Winter Garden, Dr. Phillips, Metrowest, Gotha, Ocoee and surrounding communities in the Southwest Orlando area. Chef John is a professionally trained restaurant chef with more than 20 years of experience mastering the culinary arts. ~ Fully-licensed/insured caterer and food manufacturer ~ Certified Food Safety Manager through the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under exam standards set by the Conference of Food Protection (CFP) - Certificate # 21095278 We are most known for our Tres Amigos Salsa, which is an all-natural salsa made with the freshest locally sourced produce ingredients. We offer free tastings of our fresh Tres Amigos Salsa, Salsa Verde and Kicked Up Queso exclusively sold at the Winter Garden Farmers Market every Saturday from 9 am-2 pm, the Orlando Farmers Market at Lake Eola every Sunday from 10 am-4 pm. Tres Amigos Salsa and Tres Amigos Salsa Verde can both be found in the fresh produce section at The Fresh Market stores located in Dr. Phillips, Winter Park, Lake Mary, Winter Springs/Oviedo, The Villages and Kissimmee. We also distribute to The Farmacy, a local-owned fresh organic grocer located in historic downtown Winter Garden as well as Lake Meadow Naturals, a local farm store located in Ocoee.
