    Stephen Nedoroscik has stolen the hearts of America and helped bring home a Bronze Medal for Team USA's Men's Gymnastics team at the 2024 Summer Olympics with his pommel horse routine–the only time he's seen not wearing his thick-rimmed glasses. 🇺🇸 Stephen removes his glasses when he goes up on the pommel horse, relying on feeling the equipment rather than sight. The gymnast has strabismus, or crossed eyes as well as coloboma, which happens when some of the tissue that makes up the eye is missing at birth. There’s no cure, but glasses or contact lenses can help. Some patients may need low vision aids or surgery.     Barbie has introduced the first Blind Barbie Fashionista doll in partnership with the American Foundation for the Blind! 💗 This doll was developed to authentically represent blind and low vision individuals, featuring and upward and outward eye gaze, sunglasses, and a cane with a marshmallow tip. Her fashion elements are more accessible and her elbow articulation allows for more comfortable cane use. #Barbie
