I've been asked a lot recently about my favorite thing about working at The Bridge and what motivates me to show up every day. The answer is simple: the people. I am incredibly grateful for my amazing team, who inspire me to be the best version of myself every day. I’ll be honest, some days can be challenging and overwhelming (I've started to assure my candidates that I'm not ignoring them, just juggling a lot!). But what truly drives me is the ability to connect candidates with opportunities that allow them to grow and reach their full potential. Our recent Dallas event - "Forging Connections, Fueling Innovation" - was a powerful reminder of what we're building and why our culture and experiences are unparalleled.

We're thrilled to welcome Jake Miller, a new Senior Consultant in our Cloud & Product Practice, to The Bridge! Jake brings a robust background in the technology sector, combining hands-on industry experience with several years of consulting expertise. His focus areas include developing modern web applications tailored to client needs, advising on efficient cloud architectures, building discrete-event simulation models, and leveraging IoT and process mining to better understand and optimize complex systems. With a diverse industry portfolio, Jake is particularly seasoned within the domains of manufacturing, transportation, and sports & recreation.    Originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago, Jake left to attend Purdue University where he studied Industrial Engineering. Having recently relocated to Iowa City with his wife, Bitsy, he is making steady progress on his tour of the Corn Belt. Together, they enjoy tailgating Hawkeye football games, but Jake will always be a Boilermaker at heart.   When off the clock, you will often find Jake pursuing some of his more vigorous passions such as active travel. Whether adventuring on foot, on a bike, or in a canoe, he loves to spend as much time exploring remote backcountry as possible. Eric has a broad range of experience in data warehousing, cloud data platform solutioning, leading data teams, data engineering, data analytics, DevOps, and enterprise data strategy. He has worked in numerous industries including healthcare, ecommerce, theme park, manufacturing, homebuilding and government utilities. Eric enjoys being hands on, designing, building and scaling cloud data platform solutions for all kinds of organizations and their use cases.
