Table Manners on Amazon #1 NEW RELEASE I am honored and elated that Table Manners is the category #1 new release. I have to thank my team, family and friends for their grace when I was writing this book. Education gets you in the room. Social Intelligence keeps you in the room. Etiquette gets you invited back. - SB

[Pictured are Luxury Sai (in pink) and friends] Today, we're diving into a topic that's as crucial as choosing the perfect playlist for a road trip: RSVPing. Yes, that little acronym that stands for "Répondez s'il vous plaît," which, let's face it, sounds way fancier than its English counterpart. Now, I get it. In a world where emojis speak louder than words and group chats buzz with constant updates, RSVPing might seem like a formality from a bygone era. But hold on to your confetti cannons, because here's why this seemingly old-school practice is more important than knowing when to use the salsa dancer or the party hat emoji: Imagine organizing a bash that's about to rival Gatsby's, complete with swanky drinks, glittering decorations, and a dance floor that's just begging for your best moves. Now, imagine the heart-sinking feeling when half your expected guests vanish into the Bermuda Triangle of indecision because they didn't RSVP. Don't let your host's hard work go to waste! RSVPing is your golden ticket to guaranteeing you're not left out in the cold (or worse, the only one on the dance floor doing the Macarena solo). Behind every great event is a host or hostess who's sweating bullets over seating arrangements, catering choices, and making sure there are enough gluten-free, dairy-free, taste-free options for everyone. Your RSVP isn't just a reply; it's a lifeline for these unsung heroes of hospitality. It tells them, "Hey, I see you. I appreciate you. And I'm definitely showing up to devour those miniature quiches you've been bragging about." Picture this: you stroll into a soirée with a certain swagger, only to realize there's no seat for you at the table, no slice of cake with your name on it. Awkward, right? A simple RSVP could have spared you from this social landmine. Plus, it helps the hosts plan for your arrival with the grace and dignity you deserve. By RSVPing promptly, you're not just securing your spot at the hottest event in town. You're showing your flair for fabulousness, your knack for courtesy, and your respect for the art of celebration. You might even earn yourself a reputation as the MVP of RSVPs—the Robin Hood of party planning, if you will. RSVPing isn't just about ticking a box or choosing a meal option—it's about embracing the spirit of celebration, showing gratitude to your hosts, and ensuring your social calendar stays as dazzling as a disco ball. So next time you get that invite, remember: RSVP like your party persona depends on it, because in the world of social soirées, it just might. Until next time, keep sparkling like the glitter on a champagne flute! Luxury Sai 🥂

When dining📱's DO NOT go on the table for any reason ️‼️ It is rude to have phones out AT ALL when you're dining with someone else unless it has been discussed prior that it will be a working meal, and you'll have to refer to your phone during your conversation.

Etiquette and the Flag Code. How to Respect The Flag This Memorial Day. The United States Flag Code is a set of guidelines for the display and handling of the American flag. It was first established by Congress in 1923 and then later codified into law in 1942. Here are some key points from the U.S. Flag Code: Displaying the Flag: The flag should be displayed from sunrise to sunset on buildings and stationary flagstaffs in the open. It can be displayed 24 hours a day if properly illuminated during hours of darkness. Half-Staff: The flag should be flown at half-staff on certain days, as proclaimed by the President, or upon the death of certain officials or public figures. Respect for the Flag: The flag should never touch the ground or anything beneath it, should not be used as apparel, bedding, or drapery, and should not be used for advertising purposes. Saluting the Flag: During the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem, individuals should face the flag, stand at attention, and place their right hand over their heart. Folding the Flag: There is a specific method for folding the flag, often done ceremonially, into a triangle with only the blue field and stars visible. Retiring the Flag: Worn-out or damaged flags should be disposed of in a dignified manner, preferably by burning. Use on Vehicles: The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle. These are just a few highlights of the U.S. Flag Code, which provides more detailed guidance on various aspects of flag etiquette and respect. https://lnkd.in/eGwczdYg
