Our Merritt College project continues to make quick progress!     The window installation across all buildings is now complete, and we’ve moved on to the roofing phase. The first stage, involving the installation of insulation and the air barrier, has been successfully finished. We have exciting times ahead as we dive into the start-up and commissioning phase of our St. Helena Water Treatment Plant! Each piece of equipment is being meticulously tested for functionality, and once everything checks out, we’ll test the entire plant. This marks the beginning of our 30-day performance test, during which we’ll haul in 187,000 gallons of Waste Activated Sludge from the City of American Canyon treatment plant. After the 30-day performance, we’ll transition into the 60-day demonstration period for state approval. Once the state gives us the green light, we’re officially done! Our Alameda Water Reservoir Project is now in its final stages!    Last week we finished pouring asphalt around the reservoir's perimeter, covering an area roughly 1,600 ft long, 20 ft wide, and 3 inches thick. Exciting news from Thompson Builders!     We're hard at work on the Yerba Buena Island Road Improvement Project, a $22.1M venture to enhance this historic area. We're currently removing lead-contaminated soil to start grading for the new soil nail wall. We have an update on our $91.8M Fire Safety Modernization Project! The underground work is nearly complete in preparation for the precast buildings. Currently, we are pouring concrete footings for the canopy of the precast buildings at the Gianelli location, which hosts the Pumping and Generating Plant. In total, there will be three precast buildings at this location and five precast buildings across the four job sites for this project. Our $58.8M Moffett Field project is progressing exceptionally well! Our guys are standing in front of the newly constructed mega door, measuring 160 feet in length and 50 feet in height. This door has been designed to fold, accommodating C-130 planes for servicing inside the hangar.    Our team is doing excellent work—shout out to Luis C., Jared A., Cooper A., and Edgar G.! The final stages of our Alameda Water Reservoir Project are progressing smoothly! This week, we are conducting the flushing and disinfection of the 48” main water line in preparation for the reservoir disinfection scheduled for next week. The reservoir’s liner has been patched and secured, and preparations are underway for its filling. Additionally, asphalt will be installed around the reservoir by the end of this month.
