As we have mentioned before there has been a rise in mental health diagnosis among older adults. Things aren’t as simple any more, too many outside stressors and too many obligations can cause anxiety, depression and more. Make sure you are taking care of yourself and surrounding yourself with a supportive team of family and friends who can help you take care of……well you! You can return the favor as well. Helping people can be therapeutic which in turn can increase endorphins which can reduce anxiety and depression and help you to deal with stress. You can also use that strategy with your friends as well. Listen helping others and staying active can fight off depression and anxiety, helping you with all over wellness.
