Last week, leaders from organizations that have completed the Start the Conversation on Mental Health journey gathered at TiER1 with Greg Harmeyer, Dustin Shell, and Meg Switala to discuss the program’s impact on their organizations and their ongoing challenges. On World Suicide Prevention Day, these conversations are more crucial than ever as we continue striving to create environments where employees feel safe, supported, and secure. On average, organizations that have experienced #StarttheConversation have seen a significant shift in how employees perceive safety and trust around mental health. The percentage of employees who agreed or strongly agreed that their company’s culture was a safe and trusting environment to discuss mental health increased from 54% to 78% after completing the journey.
