    Compliance is a dirty word We all cringe when it comes up But, the more you grow as an organization, the more it becomes the silent killer The “death by a thousand paper cuts” The internal bleed that ends companies every single day There’s a simple way to get through it though, so you never really have to worry about it Well… I say “never” tongue and cheek The CIO’s reading this can relax lol To properly get of compliance issues, whether its a HR issue or an IT issue, it starts in two places First, its up to your people. Do they know whats risky vs whats not? Does your management team know how to coach team members and or spot behavior that may cause an issue? Secondly, theres the technology piece This is where all the push back starts around compliance and being secure What kind of tech do you need? How much of it? When do you need it? Etc. The other issue is, the type of tech you end up actually needing comes off as big brother to your whole company… there’s no way around it. To ensure your company isn't exposed to compliance issues, both from unauthorized tools being loaded on to devices as well as employees opting into fake work practices, you have to have the proper tools in place Regardless of the tools, you still need to have a proper management system in place to help guide the company based on the data coming from the workforce management system in place.
