Our 2024 Summer Intern Program has come to a successful close! Our talented interns not only tackled their departmental responsibilities but also took on a challenging process improvement project aimed at elevating our customer service experience over the next 3-5 years. The four teams presented their proposals to our executive leadership team and did an amazing job! 👏 This experience gave our interns the chance to step outside of their comfort zones, build meaningful relationships, and collaborate with employees from various teams. A heartfelt thank you and congratulations to our 17 amazing interns from 9 colleges and universities across the U.S. Best wishes as you head back to school this fall!

We had another remarkable year at Lincoln Financial Field, where our employees came together to help local children gear up for the new school year at the Cradles to Crayons Backpack-A-Thon! Joining forces with volunteers from across the region, our team packed and distributed 35,000 backpacks filled with essential supplies for homeless and low-income families in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Tokio Marine North America Services is proud to continue our Gold Level sponsorship by contributing $15,000 to this impactful event. Each year, we’re honored to be part of this meaningful initiative, partnering with an organization that truly makes a difference.

Tokio Marine recently hosted the 2024 Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) second offsite outside of Philadelphia, PA, bringing together over 50 employees representing 10 diverse Tokio Marine Group Companies from around the world. This dynamic 3-day event was centered around team building and featured a keynote address from John W. Glomb, Jr., Executive Officer of TMHD, CEO of TMNAS, and President & CEO of Philadelphia Insurance Companies. John shared insights from his career journey and offered valuable advice, underscoring the significance of such programs to broaden employees’ strategic mindset and relationship-building across our global network. As Tokio Marine continues to expand its international business, these skills are more important than ever. The final projects to be presented by participants at the final offsite this November will drive our ability to foster synergy and expand our global reach as an insurance group. Over the years “The Bank” has been around, I’ve been there for countless cool things, a few of which include: Game 5 of the 2009 World Series, a division-clinching game, position players pitching, Stott’s grand slam last postseason…even Weston Wilson’s cycle last night! This was—by far—the coolest. I am so grateful! I might need to work on my control though… Thank you to Tokio Marine North America Services and the Philadelphia Phillies for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I can’t wait to see the video!
