Congratulations to TPC San Antonio's Andi Meadows on receiving the 2024 Allan MacCurrach Jr. Award! The Allan MacCurrach Jr. Award recognizes an outstanding non-traditional student seeking a career in the field of golf course and turfgrass management. We are excited to announce that the inaugural TPC Agronomy Scholarship was awarded to TPC San Antonio employee Andi Meadows. The TPC Agronomy Scholarship Award, presented by Syngenta, recognizes outstanding employees seeking a career in the field of golf course and turfgrass management. Meadows started her career with the TPC Network in 2021 as an assistant in training and has now worked her way up to second assistant superintendent at TPC San Antonio, working on the Pete Dye-designed Canyons course. She is striving for more in the classroom too, having earned an associate degree in horticulture and beginning to work toward her bachelor’s degree in turfgrass science this summer through Penn State’s World Campus program. Two additional recipients were awarded scholarships as well - Jakub Moore, an equipment operator at TPC Scottsdale and Riley Dinslage, an intern at TPC Deere Run.

“We felt we owed it to not only the community here, but also to our sport, to our industry to show, look what we can do when we put our minds together and work together,” Smith says. “And I think on a personal note, my passion with being a general manager here for the PGA TOUR and the TPC Network is really changing lives.
