We are proud to announce that TraPac is on an ambitious journey to achieve Net-Zero CO2 emissions, and we’ve just hit a significant milestone! 🚀 Our first-ever Hybrid-Electric Rubber Gantry Cranes (eRTGs) are now operational at #TraPacOAK. These cutting-edge eRTGs are not only revolutionizing container handling with their high efficiency, but they are also a major leap forward for environmental sustainability. 🌱 By integrating these advanced eRTGs, we’re boosting our volume density and making a substantial impact on our carbon footprint. We’re eliminating an impressive 900 tons of greenhouse gas emissions and 14 tons of NOx annually. 🌍✨ This achievement marks a pivotal step in our unwavering commitment to #ZeroEmissions operations at the Port of Oakland. Together, we’re building a cleaner, greener future for all. #SANY #ZeroEmissions #HybridElectricCranes #eRTGS #HybridDieselFuel Video Credit: Peter Lyons

TraPac Los Angeles successfully completed the complex relocation of two ship-to-shore (STS) cranes. 🏗️ The crane relocation project took three weeks and involved using state-of-the-art mobile transport units (SPMTs) to reposition the cranes to an adjacent berth. Ship-to-Shore cranes are as tall as the Statue of Liberty🗽 when the beams are hoisted up (over 305 feet). However, through the coordinated efforts of Harbor Industrial Services Corp., TraPac management, and the skilled #ILWU #Local13 crew, the relocation project was safe and successful. Special thanks to Tim McCarthy for sharing this video. #CraneMove #TerminalOperations #HarborIndustrialServices #STSCranes #PortLogistics

Today, on #InternationalWomeninMaritimeDay, we celebrate the incredible contributions of women in the maritime industry worldwide. From shipping to port and terminal operations, women have been making their mark in various maritime professions. This year's theme, "Women Shaping the Future of Maritime Safety," resonates deeply as we honor inspiring women like Valerie Do Carmo, Katherine Foster, and Kaitlin Rahmes, who are leading the way in maintaining a safe and #GreenTerminal as Managers in Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE). Their dedication and leadership serve as a powerful example for women in maritime industries and beyond. Let's continue to recognize and support the invaluable role of women in shaping the future of maritime safety.👷♀️💪 ♀ #WomeninMartime #IMO #WomeninLeadership #WomeninShipping #WomeninOperations #WomeninMaritimeDay

TraPac recently completed a project at our Oakland terminal adding over 500+ reefer plugs within the last year. 🙌 Oakland is the preferred export gateway for fruits, nuts, meats, and grains since we are the closest to agricultural areas in the Central Valley. With the growing demand for reefer containers, TraPac is well positioned to handle their expedition abroad, enabling them to reach global markets. 🌍 #refeers #exports #refridgeratedcargo #imports
