Tuba City Unified School District # 15 (TCUSD) is located in Tuba City, Arizona on The Navajo Nation reservation. TCUSD is a public school district administered under the Arizona Department of Education. (ADE) The District serves approximately 1,600 Kindergarten through 12th grade from Tuba City and surrounding communities. The majority of our student population is Native American from the Navajo, Hopi, and San Juan Paiute tribes. Tuba City is located about 75 miles north of Flagstaff, Arizona in the high desert of the Colorado plateau. Summers are warm and sunny - winters are relatively mild with the occasional snow shower; daily high temperatures range from the mid 40s in January, to the low to mid 90s in July and August. Tuba City is surrounded by natural beauty. Lake Powell, Navajo National Monument, Grand Canyon National Park, Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Parks are each located within 80 miles of Tuba City
