Tucker High School Foundation

The THS Foundation (THSF) is made up of a diverse group of current and former teachers, parents and alumni of Tucker High School, all of whom have one thing in common, to give back to their community by supporting the teachers and students of Tucker High School. The purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds exclusively to support and enhance the educational activities of Tucker High School. The Foundation’s planned activities will include recognizing excellence in staff and students, honoring retired staff, and keeping alumni connected to the School. The THSF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. The Tucker High School Foundation, Inc. was officially incorporated on February 15, 2011, and recognizes that the quality of an educational system and the vitality of the community it serves are inexorably intertwined. In hopes of nourishing and strengthening this relationship, the Foundation, through the use of private resources, has committed its support to programs and projects which supplement the educational opportunities available to our students. Examples of the types of expenditures the Tucker High School Foundation will include, but are not limited to, facilitating a Tiger Pride Hall of Fame celebrating exemplary alumni, faculty, and staff; recognizing and rewarding excellence in teaching and learning; promoting innovative instruction through grants to teachers; providing supplemental instructional materials and equipment; and defraying expenses associated with academic competitions and programs.
