A champion for the Redstone Arsenal workforce 💪 As commanding general of U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command and senior commander of Redstone Arsenal, MG(R) James Myles led installation and community projects related to the relocation of more than 4,700 federal positions to the arsenal in the 2005 BRAC. During his tenure he ensured our Army had the most capable and ready aviation and missile systems during the Global War on Terrorism. He’ll be inducted next month into the AMC Hall of Fame.

The impact of the Army's Organic Industrial Base reaches well beyond the gates of the 23 depots, arsenals and ammunition plants. At any given time, hundreds of OIB artisans are away from their home base -- overseas and in unit motor pools -- bringing their technical expertise to increase Army readiness and train others to do the same. His leadership in materiel life cycle management, acquisition support, and personnel resource management has left a legacy. A champion for the federal civilian workforce, Nerger's dedication to communicating their value and professionalism is commendable. He’ll be inducted next month into the AMC Hall of Fame.

We’re celebrating the exceptional career of LTG(R) Kenneth Dahl, who culminated his 36+ years of service as the commanding general of U.S. Army Installation Management Command. The Army just kicked off an exciting project at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, building brand-new barracks using sustainable materials! After almost three decades of service he was inducted into the Ancient Order of Saint Gabriel, the highest honor for PAOs and reserved for the rare individuals whose careers embody outstanding achievements and accomplishments in the spirit, dignity, and sense of sacrifice and commitment.
