Seeking growth in the racquet sports industry? With a Director of Racquet Sports Certificate you're one step closer. The University of Florida has partnered with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to provide tennis and racquet sports professionals with an educational curriculum focused on developing the business and leadership competencies required to successfully manage a tennis and racquet sports operation. Completion of the UF Director of Racquet Sports Certificate Course will enable a professional to become a "Certified Director of Racquet Sports" by USPTA and PTR. In this course you'll combine an in-depth knowledge of the racquet sports industry with the essential leadership, finance, communication, marketing, and event management skills needed to run and grow programs.

When the discussion began surrounding the need to have ONE place for tennis professionals to have the tools to become stronger leaders, it was about one sport: tennis. But we quickly realized we didn't just need to focus on tennis professionals looking to further their careers on the business side - we needed to focus on ALL racquet sports. And so we did. In the last few years we've watched players and coaches of tennis, pickleball, padel, and platform, and POP go from specialists in one sport to ALL racquets, which allows them to grow their clubs, facilities, AND get more people, in general, playing. Marcos Del Pilar - 𝗣𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗨𝗦𝗔 and others have worked VERY hard on bringing padel to the forefront here in the United States, and we are thrilled to have a brand new facility in Kansas City (where our instructor, Kim Bastable, calls home). Congrats to La Casa del Padel!
