🚨 We are seeking volunteers for our Certification Review Panel to review the financials of agencies applying for grant funding! As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that community investments are thoroughly vetted and impactful. This opportunity allows you to use your expertise to benefit the community, learn more about United Way and local nonprofits, and expand your professional network. Volunteers will review organizations’ financial statements, including 990s, audits, and board compositions, requiring an estimated commitment of 6-8 hours. 💰 Orientation sessions were held in July, and the independent review period will be from August 9, 2024 - August 30, 2024.
