Earlier this year, our Unitherian team scored second place in an annual flag football tournament hosted by the Holt Brothers Foundation. We had such a great time taking the field to help raise awareness for children with a parent or guardian who is battling cancer. On and off the field, #UnitedTherapeutics is proud to support such an honorable cause and we can't wait for next year! #ThrowbackThursday

We celebrate June 28 as the inauguration of our modern-day LGBTQ+ civil rights movement. And we recognize that the work to progress and see change must continue, each and every day. All throughout the month of June, Unitherians were invited to share heartfelt messages about love, kindness, and inclusion. As an organization, we could not be more aligned with these feelings. #PrideMonth #ProudtobeUT

Unitherians benefit every day from the initiatives our employee resource groups (ERGs) at United Therapeutics (UT) lead. This June, we are pleased to showcase the insights and efforts of Alyssa Friedrich, UT's Executive VP and Chief People Officer, and four of our ERG leads: Karren Jackson, Chair of the Women's Inspire Initiative; Joshua Lee, Chair of the UT-Black Affinity Organization (UT-BAO); Bill Herrera and Lonnie Aschebrook, Co-chairs of the LGBTQ+ group oUT & Proud. Pollinator Week (June 17-23) reminds us all that it's so important to help fight bee habitat loss. We celebrate our #UnitedTherapeutics partnership with Bee Downtown, which installed beehives near our solar field in Research Triangle Park. Our hives are adjacent to the pollinator field we created in 2022 in collaboration with Limb & Leaf, Surface678, and the North Carolina Botanical Garden. This buzzy apiary has become a popular agritourism site and engagement program for our employees. Our bees are expected to pollinate over 18,000 acres of surrounding landscape, and we've even harvested our first honey crop! School is out and the #UnitedTherapeutics 2024 Internship Program is heating up, with our largest class yet: 41 interns across 6 locations and 27 departments. This incredibly gifted group of individuals have the opportunity to network, receive mentorship from seasoned Unitherians, and share their experiences so we can continue to build this valuable program, year after year. We look forward to seeing them shine in their roles at UT this summer and beyond.
