🚨 Today, Independent Sector and United For ALICE will release a first-ever report on financial hardship among nonprofit workers: ALICE in the Nonprofit Workforce. The data reveals that in 2022: ➡️ 22% of nonprofit workers faced financial hardship ➡️ Nearly one-third of workers in social assistance and arts nonprofits struggled financially ➡️ Systemic inequalities left Black and Hispanic nonprofit workers twice as likely to face financial hardship as White workers This is a critical issue, as nonprofit employees play vital roles in civil society.
