Good morning, and a belated happy Thanksgiving! As a chapter we are so thankful for all our members, and as such, we took some time throughout November to spotlight these members on our Instagram, and now here! Take a moment to read through the paths to Actuarial Science taken by of some of our awesome new chapter members this fall! Huge thank you to Daniel Sutherland, Abby Veiman, Faye Shrader, Adam Messman, and Benjamin Collard for being willing to put themselves out there!

Good morning! Our chapter is so excited to announce that we have received another sponsor in the past couple weeks. Thank you so much to Wakely Consulting Group for their generosity and kindness towards our chapter! We would also like to specifically shoutout our chapter's founding president Ann P., as she has continuously brought back Wakely's spirit to our chapter since graduating, in both time and supportive commitment!

This past week, 11 members of our chapter were able to travel to Baltimore, MD for the Gamma Iota Sigma National Annual Conference. With opportunities to network with chapters and employers from across the nation, our members had a great time all around hearing from keynote speakers and attending breakout sessions with current and exciting topics. We were also honored as one of Gamma Iota Sigma's Superior Chapter for excellent attendance, superior meetings and overall chapter involvement in our communities, which our executive team is so proud to show off here! This was such an amazing opportunity and we are so glad that we were able to take so many of our executive and involved chapter members!

This afternoon, we had the opportunity to host 4 different companies for our first Allies in Insurance luncheon event! Discussing topics of imposter syndrome, inclusivity in the workplace, future growth, and more, we were so excited for professionals representing Lincoln Financial Group, the Nebraska Chapter of The Institutes CPCU Society, Mutual of Omaha, and Nebraska's Insurance Department to be able to join us today to help us gain a further understanding of these DEI topics. Major shoutout to everybody that attended for an informative and successful event!
