  • As the Fall 2024 semester steadily approaches, we all know it's recruiting season. This is your chance to showcase who you are and what you've achieved in your academic journey so far. Students frequently ask the Coordinator for Career Development, "How can I maintain my online presence on LinkedIn?" We found Esther's post exceptionally brilliant and would like to share it with you today. So tell us, What are you posting today on LinkedIn?

I post everything about computer science, internships and integrating your career in the web3 ecosystem. cs & business @uofm | rtc & colorstack fellow

Are you a student who wants to make use of LinkedIn but finds it hard to figure out what to post? Here are some starting points, what i post preferably on my account: Projects: Did you work on a project on your own ? With your friend? What’s the use case of the project? What does it solve? How did you build it? What was the thought process behind it? Life experiences: Share life experiences so people who are yet to reach that level can learn from you. An experience that thought you something deep about networking? An experience that made you see college in a different way? Internship and Internship experience: How did you get your internship? How was it like working at your internship? What new things did you learn? What did you like while working there? A problem u came across and how you solved it? An experience with your manager and what you learned? College updates and helpful resources: just getting into college? Post it, your experience in a college environment? Post it,sharing helpful resources you find on the way and basically just having fun! LinkedIn is like a second resume after your portfolio There’s nothing like saying “LinkedIn is for showing off,i have no job or experience “ Be different, bring something that is not already being done and be unique. Job acceptances aren’t the only things that should be posted. Share more ideas for students looking to get started in the comments below #LinkedinTips #CollegeStudents #CareerTips #Students #Networking #Intern #Internships #LinkedIn
