🎉 We're excited to share an update from St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital! This year’s Christmas in July event was a tremendous success, raising over $200,000 and collecting $60,000 worth of toys! These contributions will benefit the Child Life Department, and the toys are already bringing smiles to young patients like Emi. "With the support of our Child Life Specialist and our generous community, Emi can continue to play as she typically would, momentarily escaping the challenges and uncertainty of being in the hospital. The experience of play in the hospital not only lifts the spirits of Emi but also provides therapeutic developmental support. USF FCU joined the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions for the 2nd Annual Bowling for a Cause, supporting The Water Smart Tots Foundation. The event was a smashing success! 🎳 The Water Smart Tots Foundation is dedicated to preventing childhood drowning by providing scholarships for self-rescue swim lessons to children who are financially underprivileged throughout the greater Tampa Bay Area. Over 80 bowlers from local credit unions came together for an afternoon of fun and networking. Together, we raised $5,000, providing 11 scholarships for children in need. It was amazing to see so many credit union professionals come together to support this local charity and demonstrate our commitment to People Helping People. 🤝 #CreditUnionsCare #PeopleHelpingPeople #BowlingForACause
