As we prepare to enter the fall semester, we're excited to share our final highlight from the past startups that participated in one of our competitions. Flexi Flow Optics developed a groundbreaking solution for dialysis patients. Traditional dialysis processes often result in longer treatment times, increased frequency, and higher costs, which can lead to pain and reduced quality of life. Flexi Flow Optics tackles these challenges by offering an affordable, adaptable device that reduces treatment times and improves patient care. At the USF Nault Center for Entrepreneurship, we aim to support the ideas of our students and startups, helping them test and scale their innovations and playing our part in building Tampa's startup ecosystem. We're looking forward to seeing more innovative ideas at our upcoming events—stay tuned for updates! #HealthcareInnovation #Startups #HealthTech #FlexiFlow #NaultCenter University of South Florida Muma College of Business USF Innovative Education University of South Florida USF College of Engineering Florida Blue - Sophia Alonso Flepp Wallace

At USF Nault Center for Entrepreneurship, we often get asked what value we offer to our students and entrepreneurs participating in our program. Meet Mira Stimac, CEO of Lope Collective, as she talks about how our program mentors have helped her navigate the thought process while working on her startup. Mira is a former USF track and cross country athlete, entrepreneurship major, National Merit Scholar, and honors student. She founded Lope Collective to revolutionize how athletes fuel their performance. Lope Collective's savory energy bars help athletes feel calm, cool, and collected with savory flavors, simple ingredients, a low glycemic index, adaptogens, a mushroom blend, and magnesium. Mira's achievements include being a Hustle program participant, winning TiE Tampa Bay, and being a winner of the USF Sustainability Pitch Competition, the NSF I-Corps Program, and the SII Student Growth Pitch Competition. She has also validated her product through 125 in-person tests. The Hustle Program is a 7-month initiative to help students launch their business ideas. Funded by Chessler Holdings, it covers costs and provides monthly board meetings with a distinguished panel. #Entrepreneurspotlight #StartupStories #NaultCenter University of South Florida Muma College of Business
