The citizens of City of Fort Worth made a pledge and commitment to support the USS Fort Worth and her crew throughout the life of the ship. The USS Fort Worth Commissioning & Support Committee is a 501 (c) 3 organization tasked with leading the charge to provide this support by engaging the Fort Worth community, citizens just like you who value the sacrifice of the men and women who will serve on her crew. There are many ways to get involved & ‘Support the Fort’: ~ Attend an Event - There are plenty of events that celebrate the USS Fort Worth both in Fort Worth and Houston. Follow us on Facebook to stay posted on upcoming events. ~ Join our LinkedIn Group - Join other Fort Worth citizens with an interest in updates and conversation about the ship and crew. ~ Join a committee - Supporting the ship’s crew is a herculean effort.
