Deploying the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA) Home Energy Rebates calls for hands-on community engagement. Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control took that to heart by hosting public information sessions in each Delaware county. Sessions were led by VEIC’s Director of Consulting, Sue Hanson, and supported by AEG. All three events highlighted the IRA opportunities folks can look forward to in early 2025 when funding is approved, as well as programs that Delawareans can take advantage of right away. Even better, the presentation is now available online for everyone to learn from! Visit https://lnkd.in/dvpasXjf to find out more. Photo courtesy of DNREC.

Could smart panel technologies help utilities manage and reduce the impact of millions of additional heat pumps, electric vehicles (EVs), and other smart appliances that California expects to add to the grid? Hear from VEIC Consumer Insights Manager Nick Neverisky on how these may provide real opportunity for utilities in California and a look into CalNEXT's report “Market Study of Household Electric Infrastructure Upgrade Alternatives for Electrification”- supported by VEIC and the Ortiz Group. This report looks at four alternative technologies and how each could be used to reduce the overall grid demand, both on a customer and a utility level. https://lnkd.in/dpYe6RCX
