Ruby Slipper - Columbia, SC This project by our Memphis team won them a "Special Project Award" in 2023. Randy C. did a tremendous job in a tenant finish of an old downtown building (former Yesterday's) in Columbia, SC. This was Venture's first Ruby Slipper. This brunch concept, out of New Orleans, celebrates "that brunch life" and features sweet and savory menu options full of Cajun-inspired offerings and specializes in cocktails and mimosas for it's famous "boozy brunch". Ruby Slipper is known as a place where the good times roll no matter the day of the week or time of day. Our Atlanta team of Duane F., Steve W. and David J. recently completed QuikTrip's Cordele, Georgia location. This travel center features a larger lot and a more spacious store design than a traditional QuikTrip with room to service 16 cars for gas and five diesel bays for trucks. The store includes a full-service QuikTrip kitchen with grab and go items, fresh donuts, sub sandwiches and wraps as well as QT's signature pizza by the slice and roller grill items. Our Richmond team completed this Bubba's 33 location in May of this year, making #33 in the nation and their third location in Virginia. In celebration for the Grand Opening, the line wrapped around the entire building and during their first week of business, Roanoke police and firefighters received free pizzas, burgers, wings, salads and sandwiches. This 7,500 SF restaurant features a garage bar with working garage doors and a covered patio for outdoor dining. You can relax while watching wall-to-wall televisions and your favorite music videos. Our Kansas City team of Grant G., John H. and Jeff T. just opened Love’s first location of 2024 in Cortez, CO! This location is open 24/7 and offers all the amenities Love’s is known for including fresh food and drinks, Love’s-branded snacks and a Subway. There are 29 truck parking spaces and RVers have access to four RV parking spaces. In honor of the grand opening, Love’s donated $5,000 to Montezuma-Cortez High School in Cortez.
