We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our dear colleague and friend Nagi Mahalingam. Nagi was a world-class engineer who made lasting contributions to products and technology at several leading telecommunication companies. At Verana, he was a crucial member of our system architecture team. His knowledge of wireless protocols and 3GPP specifications was among the best in the industry. Nagi was also a great mentor and a patient teacher for many of us and could guide teams through the toughest of situations. His incredible work ethic and commitment to Verana will always be an inspiration for our team. Words cannot describe how much Nagi meant to all his colleagues. Beyond his technical prowess, he was a wonderful person who was down-to-earth and had a great sense of humor. Many of us at Verana knew him for nearly two decades. For those of us lucky enough to have worked closely with him, he was not just a colleague, but a dear friend. Nagi left us far too early and we will miss him dearly. Our thoughts are with his family as they deal with this unimaginable loss. In celebrating Nagi's life, we honor not only his professional legacy but also the warmth and love that he shared with his family.
