We were delighted to showcase our family of hybrid-electric powerplants at EAA AirVenture for the second year in a row. A big thank you to AFWERX for inviting us to exhibit in their booth! This year, we unveiled our recently announced VH-4T turbine hybrid-electric powerplant, drawing significant interest from aviation enthusiasts and industry leaders. We are excited to have had the opportunity to present this technology to the public eye. VerdeGo’s CTO, Richard Pat Anderson, was interviewed by Rex J Alexander for a segment on Aero-News Network’s Oshkosh coverage, where Pat discussed the innovative technologies behind our VH-3 and VH-4T hybrid powerplants. We were deeply honored to have #FAA Deputy Administrator, Katie Thomson, and #NASA Associate Administrator, Robert Pearce, visit our booth to learn more about our powerplant technologies. Pat Anderson had the opportunity to meet with our VH-3 engine partners Jan Krausko, Bastian Heberer, and Alexander Höhme from Roeder Group. Additionally, Pat Anderson and our CEO, Eric Bartsch, had the pleasure of meeting with our partner Joshua Jecha, from Pratt & Whitney, further solidifying our collaborative efforts. Riccardo Roiati contributed valuable insights on the role of hybrid propulsion in the electric flight revolution during the “Future Perspectives” panel at the Vertical Flight Society Electric Aircraft Symposium. Piper Moeller represented VerdeGo Aero on EAA's #WomenVenture Panel, sharing her experiences working in Vertical Flight with other women in the industry. Tom Perkowski conducted an in-depth interview with Pat Anderson, exploring VerdeGo’s hybrid-electric aircraft applications of our VH-3 and VH-4T powerplants, highlighting their similarities and differences. He also interviewed Riccardo Roiati about his recent airframe configuration research for the VH-3 piston hybrid-electric powerplant conducted for NASA. Throughout the show, we had the opportunity to engage with countless aviation enthusiasts, sharing the passion and knowledge we bring to our groundbreaking technologies. We are thrilled to share the highlights of our first time attending the prestigious Farnborough International Air Show last week! Our team had an unforgettable experience, and we're excited to recap some of the key moments. It was an honor to display our innovative VH-3 piston hybrid-electric powerplant. Being located by the flight line provided an excellent vantage point to showcase our cutting-edge hybrid-electric powerplant technologies as attendees explored next-generation aircraft. Their interest and enthusiasm were overwhelming, reinforcing the importance of our work advancing sustainable aviation. We proudly announced the VH-4T turbine hybrid-electric powerplant, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards revolutionizing the aviation industry. "A strong positive customer response to the 400 kW power class VH-4T was evident here at Farnborough," said David Eichstedt, VerdeGo VP of Product Management, "our first turbine-based powerplant is well-suited to a variety of electric aircraft configurations that are focused on performance." We were also featured in a great article by FlightGlobal titled "VerdeGo keen to hit new heights," highlighting the groundbreaking technologies we provide, such as the VH-3 and VH-4T hybrid powerplants that make up our current fleet. A huge thank you to Pilar W. for giving us the opportunity to share an update on our product development.  Our CEO Eric Bartsch had the pleasure of meeting with Scott McElvaine from our esteemed partner Pratt & Whitney Canada . This collaboration is pivotal in driving innovation and excellence of our VH-4T turbine hybrid-electric powerplant. Eric shares, “VerdeGo Aero is happy to be working with RTX and P&WC to apply the P&WC 200 series engines inside the VH-4T hybrid powerplant. The combination of strengths from both companies creates a world-class team that offers the best option for high-performance hybrid-electric aircraft and drones in the 400 kW range.” To close out the show, David Eichstedt and Matthew Potvin engaged with public aviation enthusiasts, sharing insights about our technologies and vision for the future of sustainable aviation.
