About us
Vibrant started as Deere Harvester Credit Union in 1935 when eight Deere employees contributed $5 each to found the credit union. Since then, the credit union has grown to more than 50,000 members across the U.S. and now manages more than $1 billion in assets. We've also launched Vibrant Coffeehouse & Kitchen with plans to expand across the Midwest in the next few years. We recently hosted AAPI Month guest speaker George Carizey for a midday lunch and learn. George shared his story about immigrating to the US from Vietnam when he was eight. Since then he's dedicated his life's work to helping ease the transition of new arrivals to the Midwest from all over the world through organizations like the American Red Cross, United Way Quad Cities, and World Relief. Thank you for choosing to spend some of your day with us George (and for sharing the platter of fresh crab rangoons with our attendees!)
