We are the Software-Defined Edge (SDE) division of Broadcom. Our products support workloads outside the traditional data center for distributed enterprises and telecommunications providers. They power edge and telecom workloads, and deliver software-defined WAN and cloud security services, to help our customers improve their operations and remain agile in dynamic marketplaces. Our products include: · VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN and VMware VeloCloud SASE, secured by Symantec (learn more at sase.vmware.com) · VMware Edge Compute Stack (learn more at vmware.com/products/edge-compute-stack) · VMware Telco Cloud Platform (learn more at telco.vmware.com) The software-defined edge is a distributed digital infrastructure for running workloads across dispersed locations, placed close to endpoints producing or consuming data. Examples are retail stores, wind turbines, medical centers, cell towers, factories, or even a first-responder vehicle on the move. The software-defined edge delivers the compute and networking required to satisfy the needs of edge workloads—wherever they may be—and connects those workloads to the users or the components that rely on them to get business done.
