Let me clearly articulate that I advocate for all veterans to hold office. Regardless of party, I favor veterans because of the strong brotherhood we have. We have all been through the military to have integrity. Our DD214 states any and all awards given to military personnel. I believe that Gov Wes Moore could have made an honest mistake. He was informed by senior command he was in line to receive a Bronze Star. I will give Gov Wes Moore the benefit of doubt that he was misinformed. What is difficult to grasp is why it took so long for him to acknowledge he had not been awarded a Bronze Star. He is a Brother and should be treated with respect however there are unanswered questions. I hope I am wrong and open to all clarifications.

These are basic questions for all of us to answer regardless of political party, state, or economic status. Why must our military families suffer when financial resources are allocated for illegal aliens along with debit cards to purchase food with free medical? How can we will be willing to initiate conversation of a $125,000 down payment assistance in California for the purchase of a home by an illegal alien? Is America, prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens and veterans. I understand that America needs more cheap labor however does it have to be at the expense of American citizens? I know America needs additional procreation however it have to be at the expense of American citizens? I submit to all of America that we must take care of our own first. I submit to all of America if inflation is forcing a burden on our military personnel that financial resources be allocated to them. Common sense mandates that if we do not allocate limited financial resources to the military, how will the military defend America. The U.S. Constitution (Art. II, sect. 1) makes it clear that the President’s supreme responsibility is to “…preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”  I am not a constitutionalist however the President is not obligated to take care of the American citizen however I would hope that would be a President's highest goal even though it is not mentioned in the Constitution.

NewDay continues to deceive military personnel and veterans. Be prudent in their bait and switch tactics. There are better companies than NewDay around. Do not be deceived.
