It's only been about a week since we completed the move to our new facility, but we're still jetting (or jet-gunning?) through hardware production for our DoD customers. Wave Motion's hard-working executives Finn van Donkelaar and James Penna stayed late to ensure this shipment going to Yuma Proving Ground would be on time and under budget!

For a second year in a row, our CEO and COO (also our cofounders) Finn van Donkelaar and James Penna attended NewSpace Nexus State of the Space Industrial Base Advanced Power and Propulsion working group! And it wouldn't be an SSIB working group for Wave Motion without bringing a prototype. Keep staying tuned for what these new "Solid" Jet Guns can do!

Wave Motion Launch Corporation is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Direct to Phase II SBIR by the United States Army worth nearly $1.6 million! Wave Motion will work with the Army's DEVCOM Armament Center to create Jet Gun prototypes that are smaller, lighter, and more effective than any indirect fires systems on the battlefield today! This award was the result of Wave Motion being named a grand prize winner in the Army's xTech Pacific competition, where the Jet Gun was recognized as a potentially valuable technology for overcoming the "tyranny of distance" in the Pacific theater! Team NSIN is excited to announce the launch of the Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub, Washington, powered by Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)! We cannot wait to start working with local companies, entrepreneurs, researchers, students, and more as they learn how to enter the Defense Innovation Base to help solve DoD challenges. At the launch, NSIN announced the Washington Hub's first prize challenge, the Catastrophic Communications Challenge (C2C). This prize challenge, presented in partnership with the Washington Air National Guard (WA ANG), 194 Communications Flight, will offer a $75,000 prize pool for innovative solutions to assure communications during volcanic eruptions and other natural disasters. Wave Motion was invited to participate in the exhibition after winning the xTech Pacific competition! We also shared a space at the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition (PNDC)'s pavilion as a proud PNW defense contractor. Wave Motion gained critical exposure to both Army personnel and the largest prime contractors in the world.
